OBD Return from USA - Thanks Jenna!
Old Blind Dogs recently returned from a five week tour of the USA which saw the band perform in nine States. They were joined by the brilliant fiddler Jenna Moynihan. oldblinddogs.co.uk finds out how the tour went…
The tour, which saw the band travel from California to Minnesota via Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin was a great success with fantastic turn outs and lots of opportunity to catch up with friends old and new. Our fiddler Jonny Hardie was covered for this tour by the young and quite brilliant fiddler Jenna Moynihan. The band would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenna for her company, her professionalism and most importantly her music. Many fans and promoters complimented the band on how well Jenna fitted into the Old Blind Dogs sound. It was truly a pleasure for us all to work with Jenna and we all wish her well for what is destined to be a brilliant career in music.
Although the end of the tour saw us part ways we all hope that we can catch up, visit and perform with Jenna again in the future but for now, we wish her safe travels and great concerts. Until we meet again…
We would also like to extend out sincerest thanks to everyone who helped on the tour especially our agent Pat Garrett and his family, CWA agent Mark Colson, our friends Pete and Lynda Haworth, Gloria Rosson, Stu Mason, RT and Jess, Kari and the Barton family and all the promoters, friends and fans who came out to see us, hung out with us and generally looked after us along the road.
We are currently looking at plans to tour again in the USA in August/September and October 2017 so watch this space!
